FORM Studio was founded in 2012 by Liam Chen after a decade of practice at some of Melbourne's leading architecture firms. The studio began with residential work — small renovations and extensions — and grew into a multi-disciplinary practice spanning architecture, interior design, and brand environments.

Today we're a team of 18 architects, designers, and project managers working from our Flinders Lane studio. We remain intentionally mid-sized: large enough to manage complex projects, small enough that every client works directly with a principal.

Our work is grounded in three principles: that buildings should respond to their context, that materials matter more than trends, and that the best design emerges from genuine collaboration between designer and client.
